Traveller in Time flooded with join requests
"Welcome to the Guide
If even half of your applications get processed you will be out of online time already. Perhaps familiarize yourself some more with the system .
Lucky for you most of the official Volunteer groups are not recruiting, something you could know if you read some of the conversations on the recruiting pages.
with the societies, they are wonderfull too "

Traveller in Time only reading
"I do not decide any of those. (I am only the welcoming commitee of the Pythonists)
It is more what I wrote before, you will be top loaded when you take all volunteer Jobs at once. Besides your frequency of applying suggests you expect a reply for all of them within minutes. there is enough time, some conversations overhere last for years with a single posting each year. "

Traveller in Time waiting
"I do not have any say in whether you are honoured a volunteer role.
I am only the cleaner of the doormat < A2091511 > of the Monty Python Society < A1046701 >, and as the editor of the society page seems to fade away (many do) I am the only one left to say Welcome.
The best and only practice is to wait. You will be automatically informed of a new posting to your applications.
Best policy is to accustom yourself to the site. We have Clubs , Societies , Roleplaying areas , Musicians , Football players , Formula 1 racers , Star Wars fans .
And ofcourse the main attraction is in the Review Forums , either to read and comment, or to Produce and Publish .
If an Entry is written well enough, to be concidered so by a Scout, the <./>Team</.> of Editors will commission the Entry to a <./>SubEditor</.> for polishing and spellchecking. After that the Editors can decide to ask a CommunityArtist to produce a fitting picture.
The next step for the Entry will get in the Categorisation < C889 > and on the <./>FrontPage</.>. The <./>ACEs</.> will help the writer to party , good you have already met 'lil' < F2270251?thread=752780 >. "

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
