I did a search of the guide for entries concerning so-called ice storms & didn't find any. Although it's now more than three years since my own experience of the effects I think I could still contribute something useful.

Humour (humor?) in guide

Among the guidelines for the guide is the injunction not to be funny deliberately. How do you know that the poster isn't just a funny guy (girl/man/woman/salivating monster) ?
A quick check of my own web site (see above) will show that I'm just that kind of guy - I mean who else would have a page designated as 'Boring Stuff'?
Which reminds me - I'm well overdue for an update - maybe by next Thing?
