A 100,000 Haiku
Posted Jun 2, 2002
Recentley I have had a little craze for haiku. I'm posting these here so I don't lose them within the bowls of my cluttered computer. Please do not try to find some deeper meaning, as there is none.
h2g2 has
One hundred thousand users.
Very old indeed.
The celebrity
Is just a distraction from
News we do not want
Seeing you was fun.
Our three day happiness
Was not tiresome.
End of an era,
Or just a new adventure?
We won't break like glass.
I'm crushing myself.
Or is it just this keyboard,
That is killing me
the endless noise rises
in me is a restless void
fill me up with light
Such a wasted day.
I should read a zine or book,
But I'm not caring.
Rain hammering down
Protected by some thin glass
A calming contrast

Researchers with the Longest Postings in 24 Hours
Posted Apr 10, 2002
Today I managed to get myself onto the 'Researchers with the Longest Postings in 24 Hours' for the very first time. I came in at number 8 with these figures -
Rocket Man (36 posts, average size 543). That's 19,548
Let's see if i can beat that score!

words that i like, and words that i don't
Posted Mar 30, 2002
These are my favourite words -
tea
feminist
radio
tragic
My least favourite words are -
dog
loo
nibbles
goggle
blob
I don't like/dislike these words because of their meaning. In fact, I have no idea why I have any feeling towards them at all. All I know that the first lot are wonderful. If someone mentions the word 'nibbles' to refer to light pre-party snacks, I experience terrible cringing feelings.

zine
Posted Feb 16, 2002
Tonight i spent a happy few hours writing my first article for our upcoming DIY zine. This is a monumentous achievement, as it the first time in months that i have written anything on a saturday night, other than my own name. We home to self-release the yet to be titled publication. Oh what fun it will be, venturing out into the dark world of alternative media.
