Knives, photocopiers and glue sticks

The new fanzine that I'm producing with my friends is going great. We've only been doing it in earnest for two days, and already we've got interviews with three UK-based bands. I sent out some emails tonight, and within an hour I'd got positive replies from people that wanted to contribute.
Still haven't though of a name yet...

Virgins and Vampires
Posted Sep 13, 2002
Yeah, I'm going to a virgins and vampires party tonight, as it's Friday the 13th. I'm going to wear a pair of ill-fitting green corduroy flares, a hideous brown shirt and a Darth Vader Star Wars t-shirt, complete with an awfully geeky metallic picture of DV himself. I also plan to put my hair into an unkempt side parting.
As you've probably guessed, I'm going to be a member of the 'virgin' contingent at the party

I love my life at the moment. I just made myself a nice, warm cup of coffee and am enjoying it over h2g2 and a new zine. I know that a lot of people don't like 'Maximum Rocknroll' anymore, but tonight it's still interesting me; I enjoy reading it, and it informs me, so I suppose that's all that matters.
Another great publication that I picked up today was 'Adbusters'. Going to the book shop that sells it, which incidently is the only place that I've ever seen it sold, is always equally as pleasurable as buying the magazine. They have such cool people in there, and if I weren't a bit shy I'd enjoy having a conversation with them.
It's a shame that such a great book shop has to be on a street named after Edward Colston though. That man was such a b*****d.
This zine smells of Replay Records in Bristol. Damn, I love that place. It's in a really dodgy part of Bristol, and you have to walk through pools of last night's drunks' piss to get to it. However, getting urine in the bottom of my shoes is more than worth it. Getting away from the high street and going to a *real* record shop is possibly one of my favourite things.
I found a Capdown minidisc today. I usually just shove all my minidiscs into an old shoebox, as I can't afford to buy a proper storage tower. The advantage of being so disorganised is that recordings easily get lost, and forgotten about. I love finding, and listening to, these lost recordings again. It's like getting a whole new album but also being familiar with the band at the same time. Does that make sense?

I always hated drama anyway
