Curiosity killed the cat...

...but I'm not a cat so hopefully it shouldn't kill me. I am, in fact, an ACE (Assistant Community Editor) and it means that I have volunteered to personally meet and greet newcomers to the Guide such as yourself.
Welcome to H2G2 Mojophile!!
Love the view!
*stares at it for a bit*
If you have any questions, ask away... I may not be able to answer them accurately or even at all, but I'll be able to find someone who can. You can also go and ask the rest of the ACEs at http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/Aces
Don't worry if it takes you a while to get back... I have a plentiful if not endless supply of s and and will sit here eating them until you return. So there's no hurry! But do have a doughnut or some cake yourself.

... but waiting is more damaging to people

Sorry, about that. I'll put my callous-seeming absence down to the fact that: a) I am new and confused (I can't even get my little head around the smilies yet), and b) slightly hectic in the work situation. Anyhoo, thanks for the welcome, hope that the cake was nice and could you please hoover up the crumbs. It's only polite. Actually, while I'm on the subject of little bachelor pad, I'm thinking of sprucing it up a bit. Maybe I'll get in touch with my feminine side to give it the metaphorical "woman's touch." Or maybe I won't. That, you see, is suspense. Ahh.

What?! Blimey, it's only four days, don't worry about it!! There are lots of peple who can only come online weekends, or one day a week. Don't worry about not being around for a while.
*sigh* Oh alright...
*finds a hoover from somewhere and starts hoovering...*
Good luck with it. If you try it!
*says 'wibble' for no apparant reason*
Wibble!
