Exactly which picture were you trying to use, Zaphod? Was it one of the h2g2 pictures? You're only allowed to use h2g2 pictures or smileys
If it's an h2g2 picture, then you need to convert your entry by clicking the 'Edit page' button, choose GuideML and click the 'Change style' button.
To insert a h2g2-picture you use this tag:
XXXXXX is the number of the picture.
