Not ignoring you at all m'dear, just being considerate of the thread not wanting to wander too far off topic in too many directions at once
.
You may have noticed I've also suggested GreyDesk reply elsewhere concerning the new appendage to his nickname. He sounds seriously disturbed and I was seriously inquiring of his state of mind.
I hope this finds you well and not too disappointed that I not only ignored you but also failed utterly to see the irony in your feigned indignation and subsequent resignation.
Oh well..

Ooops..
In the clear light of day, I wonder if my own irony hasn't o'erstepped the mark here. It was your phrase 'oh well' which I interpreted as a resigned sigh and one of those ironic ones at that.

You must think that I am ignoring you now!!
I saw your post earlier but I keep getting distracted and then forget for a while.
I am inclined to post impulsively in response to what occurs when I'm wandering about. It will always be something that strikes me as amusing at the time and I don't expect to be taken too seriously. I never in anger or with malice aforethought. (At least not so far )
Hope all is well with you.

All is well relatively speaking. I am about to make a transition from being a full-time-flat-out-busy-busy-busy TV producer to being a lazy sleeping-in, self-indulgent, unemployed bum again.
Can hardly wait!
There are still have some loose ends to tie up before I can relax and get alarm clocks and commuting out of my system again. I hate transitions. Like changing planes and waiting around some strange airport. Like stepping into or out of a shower or swimming pool. Going out into the cold and waiting for the car to warm up. I get impatient when I'm not comfortably established. I like being either 'here' or 'there', 'ying' or 'yang', the transitions in between are the hardest bits.

I'm planning to be a lazy sleeping in, self indulgent bum myself for a while this winter. I will be doing this out West - if there is an airline still operating that can get me from here to there.
I hope that your transition will take place before the snow flies. Then you can settle down and not have deal with commuting and car warming - and the snow plow blocking your driveway just as you were about to drive out.
