lost children

Standing in the storm of us.
Naked.
Innocent.
Trusting.
I reach out to touch you.
Our hand meet in midair,
We laugh. Rain enters our
Mouths refreshing our
Souls.
Vulnerable we seek each other.
Exploring skins, touches, mouths.
You touch inside.
Me.
Loving me.
Knowing me.
I hold you in my arms.
In my heart.
In my soul.
Cradling each other
We stand in the
Storm of us.
Naked.
Invincible.

can't sleep

There is a word in Portuguese that has no direct translation. I’m not entirely sure of the spelling, so please bear with me.

Soledad.

There is no English translation. What it loosely means is longing. Like the soul knows not what it is missing, but it knows it is missing something. Like the sound of home. Or the laugh of a missed child. Or the ache of a long lost soulmate’s pure love.

That is soledad. Songs are sung that needs no translation. Souls speaking to one another of a shared anguish. Tears to deep to be shed. Smiles that cover eyes that cry.

more lost

Caresse me, I moan.
Sing to me, I cry.
Soothe me, I shiver.
Love me, I fall.
Catch me, I'm yours.

lost

Whisper to me the secrets of your soul.
Sing to me the longings of your heart.
Embrace me to sound of your rhythms.
Envelope me in the mist your love.
All of these my soul craves from you.
And all of these I give to you.

fragmented

"Come inside with me", She whispered to him. He stood on the doorstep. Unsure. She reached for him. He took a hesitant step towards her. The house looked warm, inviting, the fire lit. One single candle illuminated the livingroom and the firelight played with shadows around it. He took one hesitant step inside. Her hand gently swept him from the cold outside. She quietly took his coat from his shoulders. He didn't realize how heavy it had become.
The room infused itself into his senses. Fragrances long held dormant in his memory suddenly came alive again.
