somewhat subdued!
It was so wierd not to have him come and find me and get under my feet when I was getting up, then not sitting on the counter in the kitchen waiting for his food just before I left.

I am going to miss the way he climbed all over me when he wanted attention, the way I got a cuddle when I got home, having him call me when he comes into the house (especially if it had rained) and having him curl up next to me when I am asleep

There is a spot in the garden, under a budlia bush, I am thinking about burrying them there, but I dont know. It just seemed to be the best of the options that I was given, to have his ashes.

Or you could just sprinkle him around the beds and borders so that gives a little nourishment to all the plants
