The Interconnectedness of all things
My life has enjoyed a bizarre synchronicity with that of the late, great Mr Adams: Zaphod Beeblebrox was my childhood hero (which may explain a lot that's gone wrong since...) and my first job was as a private investigator. While it was not officially a holistic detective agency, we did employ Dirk Gently's methods of charging clients for doing nothing - but that was my shady past and I am a new man now :-)
I had a single cyber-conversation with Douglas Adams round about 1994 at which time I was working for Adobe (vendors of Photoshop, Illustrator etc). I had just read "The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul" in which Dirk discovers that St Pancras station is the manifestation in this realm of Valhalla, Hall of the Norse Gods. This blew me away because, some years before, I had researched ley-lines and been informed that St Pancras Station was at the exact centre of the ley-line grid in Britain. I wrote to Douglas and asked him if he had been aware of this but it turned out to have been a complete coincidence which both of us found - if not incredible - amusing.
The story of my researches into ley-lines is told in my largely autobiographical novel "Saxon Dregs 'n' Rotten Roles" which you can find on my web-site at http://www.raviholy.com" >http://www.raviholy.com

You will also see a picture of me there - although I normally wear specs and have grown a (goatee)beard since that picture was taken ...
My wife, Nikki, works for the Beeb and we live in Morden (last stop south on the Northern line). I am a failed actor/musician/writer currently hoping to become a full-time minister in the Church of England. My church background is actually more in 'non-conformist' churches such as Pentecostal and Baptist but if I were ordained in one of those denominations, my title would be Pastor Ravi Holy and that would be too silly...
