My Page
Posted Mar 28, 2002
God, it's so boring.
Every time I log onto H2G2 my page depresses me. I wish I had time to learn the Guide thingy.
I think that H2G2 should come up with a virtual version of 'Changing Rooms', designed to help lazy, unimaginative people like me create the page of their dreams.

Birthdays

I can't believe that my elder daughter is nine today! That's halfway to being an adult. If she didn't have a very little sister I think I'd feel very old indeed.

One more weekend to go...
Posted Dec 10, 2001
Three days off now, and a final weekend of work, and it's all over. Four and a half years of my life over and done.

FREEDOM
Posted Dec 7, 2001
I'm leaving work! I'm becoming a full-time domestic goddess!
It's great, but a little scary. I think we can afford it, and I want to spend more time with my little girl.
Some people are reacting to my decision in a way I didn't expect. It's almost hostile. When I resigned, everyone asked me about my 'new job'. When I told them there wasn't one, and I was becoming a housewife, it was a real conversation killer. Why, I wonder?
Perhaps I'll ask the community about this one...

Back to work

No chance to explore further until this evening - I'm back at work today. Oh, to work online for a living! I could become a domestic goddess - Muse of Dusting, perhaps?
