Stumbling about
Posted May 17, 2001
Today I've been spending all my free time exploring this wonderful website, and finding out a lot of things that I didn't know before. I've also thrown my two pence worth into a few conversations, and started a couple of my own, too. Perhaps one of these days I'll attempt my own entry! It is, after all, a dream of mine to become a writer...yeah, I know: me and a few million others!

Baby in bed
Posted May 16, 2001
Emma is asleep, so type quietly, please. She sleeps from about 11am until 1pm, which is my web time (should be washing up, though). Today is the first time that Molly (my elder, 8) has gone to school without her sling on (she broke her wrist on Friday). Just as well she's not doing any SATs this year - she can't write at the moment. Matt (Him Outside) has got a parent's evening tonight; he spent half an hour looking for his tie this morning. Sad.

Baby in bed

She sleeps for two hours, usually between 11am and 1pm, when she wakes up crying for her lunch. This sleepy time for her is my chance to log onto this website (although I ought to be doing the washing up). This morning Ella and I took Molly (aged 8) to school and then we went shopping. We stopped by the Fire and Cooker shop to get some brochures for the new fire and/or combi boiler I want installed (we've just moved house into an old student flat - a bit grotty it is, needs doing up). Then we came home and watched Teletubbies and had a bottle of milk.
Thinking about work, as per. Whether to leave or not. Hate the job, need the money, same old story, nothing special. Hate the fact mostly that I work weekends, miss the family loads. Wish we could spend more time together.
