h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hi Witty Ditty,

Hope you've recovered from the day you spend in the air getting back from Oz. It's a trip I hope to make one day, but the time spent in the air frankly terrifies me.

Anyway onto business (because I only ever come round people's Personal Spaces when I want something ), I've just been looking for an entry on the World Trade Centre and realised that the only thing we really have is your chart of the events of the attack on 9/11. I think this should be in the Edited Guide, and if you'd be willing I'd like to see it in Peer Review. I think enough time has passed for us to be able to view the events objectively, and your entry is factual and avoids the hysteria that some might be tempted to give in to.

So, whadda yer say?

Oz was pretty darn fine I have to say - you should make the trip; I was a bit nervy, but after a few glasses of on-board wine, that tends to relax you a bit

Cattle class is horrible, but I can't afford anything more comfy

Re the WTC entry - I don't see why not; I might be a little absent in the editing process though - I'm quite happy for it to be in peer review, but owing to Final Year commitments I can't do as much as I did before. Tis only 6 months until the moment of truth...

How's that for a slice of fried gold?

I think it'll be fine. It just became an obvious gap to us while we were compiling the brand new h2g2 Calendar, which we'll be unveiling properly on January 1, but a preview is available via my Personal Space.

Look forward to seeing it in PR.

I'm giving it a quick edit now to take the more emotive language out - it was originally intended for The Post - so I'm just Guiding it up

The effect of more neutral language only accentuates the actual events of the day...
