How's things in the office post-meetup?

Well, Abi, Mark and Peta are out of the office today (pre-arranged, I might add Extremely sensible). Everyone's saying what a great time they had and Mina's filling us in on the gossip as it filters through!

It was my first meet - and I was quite nervous, but it all went as everyone was just *so* lovely

Ooooh - gossip! What nefarious deeds of dubious origin have people been getting up to?

There was some snogging going on, I believe And the big news is Uncle Heavy stayed sober! Actually, thinking about it, it was quite a subdued meetup!

Ah ha!

I believe I witnessed some serious tongue wrestling going on at the end

I hear they do! And I'm sure I'm just getting the censored version from Mina who's protecting my innocent little ears This is a family website, after all!

I don't think I was enough to be the subject of gossip...

*cowers in fear, then realises she looks patently ridiculous, and sits up again*

Ah - you see, the last time I was *really* was my 21st. I woke up the next morning with *loads* of randomly situated bruises - I worked out that I *must* have been given the bumps on Brook Green, but I fear to speculate what else may have happened...

I hate that feeling in the morning that you get, that creeps up on you. First of all you feel fine. Great night out you think. Then there's a tiny niggle that gets bigger and bigger. Tentatively you start asking friends questions, and they reveal The Awful Truth. I've learned not to ask questions now, and rely heavily on my sense of selective memory!

The thing is, I'm always wondering how I manage to get into my nightclothes on such drunken nights.... It always happens, without fail...

Well, at least you get into - and into bed! That's a start surely
