Hi, I thought I'd drop in here to save the pr thread from total drift.
Thanks for that link, it appears my son had allergic gastroenteropathy. And although he seems to be able to tolerate milk in small doses now, I'm still going to look into it more. 
The only thing it didn't mention was that he often got excema when exposed to milk for more than a few days as a toddler. No sign of that returning either, thankfully!
