Stuff about me goes here? A short intro
Well looks like the new boards will be using H2G2 software so I'd thought I'd put a little line in the space we have.
First I should say I doubt I'll post in my personal space, I prefer boards with fixed topics as it helps to keep debates on track.
Second for the curious, a bit about me: I'm a biological scientist, trained as a biochemist at undergrad and just putting the finishing touches to my PhD. As such you'll often find me on the science boards where I like to learn a few things from the other resident scientists, and share some of my knowledge with anyone who asks for it. I feel communication of science to the general public is very important, especially as in recent times biology seems to be in the news as a scare story rather than an interesting discovery.
In terms of general interest I am an avid Star Wars fan, and enjoy inconsequential discussions on that subject. I also enjoy the usual run of other pastimes, reading music, travel, cinema, having a few drinks with friends…. you get the idea. Any way that’s enough about me, hopefully that’s a reasonable personal space filler :D
