Hi there.
I noticed that you were getting very busy here - mostly with good posts it looks like. I think that this is a wonderful thing and wanted to tell you that.
I've started reading your site and - although I've only really scratched the surface at this point - I find it all very interesting. I haven't read enough to make me feel comfortable commenting on any specifics (I like to know as much as I can before doing anything like that) but I think that you are all very courageous to put your story on-line and help so many others.
I'm sorry that I didn't get a chance to post this before. As I said in the other thread, I do most of my surfing from work. (After all, there's a T1 connection here. All I have at home is a dial-up. ) Hopefully this will change once my SO and I buy a house - our realtor is looking for places where DSL is available - but I'm not holding my breath. At least not yet.
Well, I'm off to learn more. If you have any questions about me, feel free to ask. And have a great day if we don't type to each other later.

Howdy.
I hope that I haven't done anything to offend you... I haven't heard anything from you for the last couple of days and I was just hoping that everything was ok. I can tell that you've been busy with all the posts here so I understand if you haven't had a chance, but I just want to make sure that I hadn't said or done something wrong. After all, we are friends.
E and I went looking at houses yesterday. (We're looking to move on from apartment living at last.) I have to say that I had a great time. Finding a house will be nice, but I'm almost convinced that the looking is better. It certainly will be better than the move itself.
I've gotten farther into your main pages and am absolutely facinated by all that I am learning. I'm beginning to think that I *should* have gone into psychology if for no other reason than it is turning back into something that I am truly interested in. It sounds like a strange question, but what attracted you to psychology? Was it your past, or something more? Just asking out of curiousity. I've often wondered what makes people take the jobs that they do...
Well, my phone is ringing here at work, so I must away. Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Gwen,
No, sorry, you have totally failed to offend us. Try harder.
Actually, we've just been caught up in something very intense, and it's turning into some serious work. Some people asked serious questions, we gave serious answers, and it is serious problems they are discussing, so we have to be serious about it.
Not that we mind! It justs cuts into our idle chit-chat time a bit.
Why psych? That could be a long, long self-searching answer, but I'd say basically it seemed *right*. Undergrad, first sociology and then religious studies seemed *right*.
Or do you insist I write the 80 page self-explanation?
TTYS,
Kassandra York, Chairperson, Psych Dept of LeKZ - pleased you are finding the site interesting. Please email if there are things you'd like to see, questions you wish we answered, etc.

Glad to hear that you're not offended. I think I'll skip trying harder.
Galaxy Babe said that you were helping her with her son - who is a great kid from what I hear. I think that its wonderful you're willing to help. She needs all the support she can get.
I don't know about the 80-page version, but anything you want to tell me would be interesting. I went into pre-Law because... Well, basically it was because I was very good at arguing. I was on the debate team my entire high school career, and that bled over to college somewhat. Unfortunately, I found that the world of Law was not for me. Arguing is still fun, sometimes, but I like that I have possession of my soul.
Falling into computers actually seems to have been a good thing. I started doing tech support with only basic computer skills, but my knowledge seems to be growing exponentially. It seems that luck was on my side with this job.
So, understanding the importance of idle chitchat and not wanting to continue boring you by typing about myself, I wanted to congratulate you on having an article not only accepted, but being the lead on the front page as well. That is fabulous! And I will have to try the recipe this weekend when I have time to cook.

H everybody!
Umm. I like the typo. I'm leaving it. So glad I got to the piccies before the URL got squacked.
Umm again. It's nice to be back, we think. It is certainly nice to see yous again!
Having a bit of a rough time here with, umm... trust issues. We don't really feel like discussing it here. Or maybe not at all. Some people we thought were friends turned out not to be. It's umm... disillusioning. Other people we never really knew before turned out to be really super.
Not that it isn't cool to make new friends.
We wish Androyd hadn't been so zarked off by things that he felt the need to leave. The Littles love him and they're not too happy about that. Some things were said by several people that were just . We wish there weren't so much outright nasty-mindedness out there.
So this hasn't been all skittles and . We're very leery of trying to engage with people we don't know well. A person left us a note, to try to engage us in conversation, and we think it would be a really Bad Idea to try... umm. Just not real safe is all.
Well, here... would you like a flower?
I wanted a PEACE sign!
Arpeggio, feeling spooked , along with the rest of LeKZ

That's it, don't get involved in anything that you feel might be a bad idea.
I, for one, am *very* glad to have you back.
Hi! :-)
Gw7en, Voice of Chaos (Classic) Posted Jul 12, 2001
As am I.
I think that the best advice right now would be to take it slow. If you do need someone to talk to, I'd be happy to listen - here or via e-mail. If you don't want to yet, then I understand entirely. Either way, as I said before I'm very glad to see you come back to us.
Here, have a . I know that it always helps me feel better. Especially camomile.

Thanks women!
You're sweet.
Arpeggio, probably logging off soon in quest of other diversions where we don't feel so personally haunted , for LeKZ
