But of course! So far I've spent 25 years bringing up children and I have another 6 to 8 to go. Why would I want more?

20 hours later I read the heading as humorous jelly.I haven't even the excuse of drinking either.
Anyway I can't be bothered with TV most nights.DTV isn't worth the money IMHO as it's nothing but repeats of shows that were once funny but the world has long since moved on.What's available on a Saturday night is even worse including all of the major channels(BBC1-Chanel 4).
It's the one reason I'm online so often.

you're lucky at least they change the videos every so often. All I see when I pass the tv is "Sabrina the teenage witch".. and heaven help me if i try to turn it over for something slightly more interesting.

Ok , I have to agree with you there. Worst telly programme ever just has to be bloody eastenders. (ducks abuse from all soap opera fanatics who have been brainwashed in to believing it is all real... a hint folks, its make believe, with scripts, cameramen and lighting people!!!)

Are you living in my house Spike ? The sum total of TV viewed is MTV - Sabrina - Reasons to date my daughter - Malcolm in the Middle - and Stargate.
I did manage to get to watch most of QI.

so did i, but i had to have the sound turned down so low that even my ultra-sensitive ears were struggling, 'cos his nibs was asleep.
do you not have the curse of the simpsons, yu-gi-oh, beyblades, digimon and dragonballz in your house then?

The Simpsons have worn off - Pokemon was a problem - and Sailor Moon, but I weaned them off with Final Fantasy games.

I'm currently stuck with the remake of He-man and the masters of the universe(i wish skeletor would be allowed to win-he's the best character)or ultimate muscle which really has to be the very, very worst i've ever seen.
otherwise it's endless repeats of old beeb comedies or old itv dramas courtesy of my old man unable to get out of nostalgia alley.then when he is out i can't find anything i want to watch so child gets remote and we begin again.
sometimes i get stuck with xbox games which don't seem that much different from the normal fare.
i'm seriously wondering why i have cable tv.
the bb is good though.

I have jsut wathced an episode of "coupling" on the beeb. Never seen it before.. BRILLIANT stuff...Anyone a fan?
Must admit Tek, I have managed to escape digimon et al, mainly cos I think we only have the one sprog and she more into the aforementioned sabrina, sister sister, mary kate and ashley.. etc. Mind you I did find her watching animal planet today which I view as a success. We actually sat and watched a whole hour of sensible telly together, without skimming channels or saying "can't we watch nickolodian?"

Ringwraith loves Animal Planet. When he was little i used to tape all the Wildlife on Ones and Survivals etc for him. He's in heaven now.

Me a fan of Coupling! Have been since it started. Quite apart from sarah Alexander being very attractive, it has some very funny lines. Wish they hadn;t changed Patrick later on though. Jeff is also a star character. Some of the embaressment bits I'm not 100% keen on but hey, watch and see. YOu missed last weeks one? *stops self given plots away*
