Welcome to the Lair of the Flyinghogfish.
I am THE Flyinghogfish.
Please do not mistake me for any of the other flyinghogfishes you encounter on the road of life. I am the one and only, and will suffer no pretenders.
As everyone in H2G2 knows, identity is everything. Where would any of us be without our paragraph long user names that cry out for attention. As for myself, I have always been The Flyinghogfish, and accolades I have none. It is simply who I am.
Not much to say about me really, despite a penchant for self-absorbtion and narcissism -- which brought me to H2G2 back in 1999. Those who know of me see only a mystery. Those who know me personally believe I am a writer, scholar, chef, and all around brainbox. Those who see through the enigma see only a pain in the backside. My appologies, but I am afraid this is all a part of life. The French have a well known saying about life. I think it translates into English as "go to Belgium."
Alas, I am not a member of the H2G2 community to sing my own praises like so many others -- including past incarnations of myself. Finished am I with the intellectual pose and the ivory tower ego. I am here to discuss the topics of the day in a forum where like minded people can disagree.
I have my towel. It can't get any worse than this.
