can't sleep

where are the magic pills???!!
i'm sure i was promised magic pills
to take away the fatigue
and make me sleep
and banish the nightmares
and the pain
and oh my god i'm sounding like an angsty teen

of course i mean in nz
so big expectations? not really - let's just say i'm prepared for disappointment and a lot of whining about it on the Staunch Alliance loop from people who aren't even members of the party - not that i don't agree with them, but at least those of us who have joined are actually trying to change things too - they are shooting at the wrong people
sigh
but mara was sitting on my lap and that made me happy
and i'm going to go to the library - yipeeeeeee!

is pretty sad (read: i just found out about douglas)
but i'm sure i'm going to pour that out in many other places, so i though i might do a little update here instead:
- diagnosed with Myalgic Encephalitis (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) late last year (2000) and this has vastly curtailed my internet time
- unable to get back into h2g2 after the shift to bbc because i forgot how to do my new account
- read about douglas in the paper a few hours back and one of my first thoughts was how to get back on here and be with other people who would understand
righto
