Hi there!
Noticed that you were writing an essay on "proper" comic books. Do you happen to know about the Angoulême International Comic Book Festival in SW France? If no, you can go to Terri and Yoda's U208370 useful links thread (in her journal space) and visit the Angoulême Mairie (townhall)'s site. She didn't get the email adress right straight away. The working one is on the last posting where it's mentioned. As it happens, Terri and I live in Angoulême and if our being here can help, just drop me a line.
By the way, this year's edition of the festival (the 30th) starts on Thursday.
