Well, I'd love to do foreign or war reporting. My hero is John Pilger - I was beginning to get pretty disillusioned with the idea of being a journalist, until I read his books. He taught me that you *can* keep your integrity and be successful.

Hmm, now I'm stuck. I'm intrigued, but want to be reassuring. I don't want to be no tabloid hack, that's for sure. I'm still an idealist - I've still to have that beaten out of me

:-) OK - sorry - it's just that people tend to jump to the wong conclusions when I start to explain my job - especially idealists! ;-) FIRST I have to say that I work in a non-party political, objective, genuinely public supporting role.
