Ah, a mere 600-odd miles away then . I was really disappointed with the ruby from there. Curry is just not the same unless it's from your local ruby house.
What's the curry scene like in Germany? I did once maage to track down a chinese in Luxembourg - wasn't worth the effort. It's in Rue de Treves, Seninberg if you want to cross the border

Curry, kebabs and pizza (except pizza hut and even then . . .) are to be avoided at all costs in Germany. Chinese is the take away of choice, but Germans generally don't eat it - it's always foreigners in there!!
I've been to Luxembourg (city) while on my grand european tour and had chinese - not good to say the least. Same as in Paris, they've no idea how to do chinese there either (when I say chinese I mean the quailty faux chinese the Brits are so good at serving!!)
Got a craving for crispy duck now .

I'm going to be so disappointed if I ever go to China and ask for sweet & sour chicken Faux chinese is superb. I'm told not to bother asking for anything on your local indian menu when visiting India - they wont have a clue what you're talking about.
crispy duck. Though it's best to avoid thinking about how they prepare the duck.
