h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Today I feel diffrent then yesterday...mabye it's from lack of sleep...mabye someone spiked my wheaties...after work yesterday or I should say this morning I just drove home and went to sleep...not much choice really everything is pretty much closed in my village at 0530...I woke up at 930 looked at the clock and said to myself "Self you have got to be kidding me" so I slept in till 1000...got up called a friend who said they might be interested in comeing out to my rugby game today and left a message something along the lines "Either your not up yet or your out either way you got till 11 to let me know if you want to go if not I will talk to you latter"....now with this friend I ususaly am not that abrubt when talking to them but I felt like saying what I did and for the first time in a while for this particular friend I went ahead and said what I wanted to...it's nice when sometimes you just say exactly what's on your mind...I don't usualy have a problem doing that but with somepeople I don't know I guess I try to protect them from me or something and I end up just fileing away what I actualy want to say...oh well so I didn't...I didn't get a call before 11 so I got in the car and headed to the city...got down to the field thinking I wasn't going to get to play today because the game I would be playing would be too late and I had to get to work...come to find out there was only going to be one game today and that the team from Danbury we were playing needed players...so I got to play the full game albeit for the other team...now I haven't been able to make it to practice and I have only played mabye an hour or so this season...so needless to say I am not in my usual playing shape...well inspite of that I had a good game...good hits got the ball quite a bit and made some good plays...matter of fact it was me and another guy helping out the team from danbury and after the game when we joined back up with our group we were told that we were the best players out there playing for Danbury (this was said by one of the Manhattan guys so it is very biased but it's still )...well of course if I have had a good game then I must be a little beat up...well I was and I had to jump in my car and speed excesivly to get up to CT...the only problem was I got stuck in a bit of trafic and even though I made great time out of traffic I was still late to work but not by much ....it's a good thing work has a shower because I was still covered in dirt and in my playing clothes...well most of that doesn't apply...so I checked my messages at the house and it seems my friend got stuck at somthing they had to do early and didn't get back to the house until a little bit after I had already left for the city...so I of course knowing they are at work made another call and left a message about tonight...and guess what without thinking about it I just said exactly what I wanted to say...strange well I will just have to wait to find out what kind of affect my bluntness will have on my friend
