A Plea For Sanity
"You know, there are many people in the country today who, through no fault of their own, are sane. Some of them were born sane. Some of them became sane later in their lives. It is up to people like you and me who are out of our tiny little minds to try and help these people overcome their sanity. You can start in small ways with ping-pong ball eyes and a funny voice and then you can paint half of your body red and the other half green and then you can jump up and down in a bowl of treacle going 'squawk, squawk, squawk...' And then you can go 'Neurhhh! Neurhh!' and then you can roll around on the floor going 'pting pting pting' ..." - Reverend Belling, Monty Python's Flying Circus
Dan Quayle once said "What a waste it is to lose one's mind."
I agree wholeheartedly, from personal experience. Which is a rare thing, an agreement between myself and a vacuous self-serving politician who can't even properly steal credit for the slogan of the United Negro College Fund. Congrats on your recent victory over a fictional character from a cancelled TV sitcom, Danny boy. Hope this doesn't mean you'll be running for office again.
It seems that I have absolutely nothing clever to say at this point in time. Somewhere along the line, you have made a wrong turn on the information superhighway, and you're about to have a head-on collision with the 18 wheeler of mediocrity. It's cargo: nothing, and everything. Zen truckers. What will they think of next?
I'm am Jack's utter lack of clever, entertaining and pithy comments.
Perhaps that, in and of itself, is somewhat clever.
On second thought, it's a load of crap.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
