..And I'll even bring some nice fresh socks - of course the all-cotton ones; they're the only ones I bother with - as a bribe/offering/etc.
Okay, so Stormrunner's my friend, I suckered him into this, and in case anyone hasn't noticed (not that they would), he hasn't been on since the first time. This is because he cannot for the life of him remember his password. He thought it was a good one at the time, but he has no ideas what it was.
Is there any way for him to log on or change his password somewhere else, or anything like that? The BBC site recognises him, but gives him the endless runaround and all that, and that wouldn't guarantee his ability to get into the Guide anyway.
So, I could give you an e-mail address to reach him, or you could tell me what to do and I'll pass it on, or whatever... but we need to get him back on the Guide.

Hi March!
Tell him to send an email to [email protected] and tell them all the details he can remember from his account....his login name, h2g2 username etc. They should be able to email him his password. Then he can log back in.
Hope it helps...and I will visit him when he returns!

Keen beans... I shall pass on the information, and hopefully he'll be back on in a day or so.
I think he's U186241; Stormrunner by name, in case you want to visit by his (relatively empty) space.
Thanx muchly.
