Not many people figure out that the smileys are links too
The ! link? My conversations? I didn't specify a U number, so it's different for everyone. But I have been known to pop by someone's conversations testing entry, and use the link there! I'm not following you, honest But you do seem to have the most interesting conversations on your space!
Only problem is that the server's playing up again, and losing track of the postings.
Sorry I'm late replying here, but the curling was on the telly, and I got sidetracked! At last, a sport the Brits are good at
So, how's things with you?
finding loads of sites about Roskilde, but they're all in flippin' Danish
Hej mistdancer...
Ottox Posted Feb 20, 2002
I've been using smileys as links for a long long time, but I feel foolish to forget how the popup gadget works!
Hmmm... the Danes were good at curling last time, but I believe they're out now... I don't have a tv (when would I ever watch it when I've got h2g2) so I don't see anything from the Olympics.
Conversation test entry? I guess you mean the onsite version...
The offsite version is much more interesting!
I'm okay... hungry... nothing in the fridge... ARGH!!!!

What, no rye bread
Yep, Danes are out, and Brits just fought a tie-break and beat Sweden and Germany to go through to the semi-finals! Yay!!!!! I'd be lost without my tv and satellite. They're in the same room as the computers, so I don't have to choose!
The smiley links and the lurker badge are the only things that stay on my space all the time. Everything else is subject to change And the main reason the conversation gadget is like that is I couldn't be bothered adding the extra stuff to the code!
Off site stuff? Have you got a website? Oohhhh, I'm all interested now!
I'm not hungry, for once! I'm stuffed full of steak and cabbage!!!
Hej mistdancer...
Ottox Posted Feb 20, 2002
Some oooold rye bread and nothing good to put on it...
I *love* not having a tv. Mainly because I love tv!
I would watch so much crap, and wouldn't get anything done if I had one. Well, since I found h2g2 I haven't got anything done anyway, so maybe it's time to get one...
I wouldn't say I have a website. I've got some things at that address where the old version you saw of my userpage is, but I can't ftp from this computer, so I can't really get anything done.
I've also got a lot of things stored at geocities because I can use their pagemaker without crashing, but it's mostly single pages, not linked to each other.

You need to find a 24 hour supermarket!
I did have a site on Tripod, but they lost everything So now I have to rebuild the thing from scratch MS Word is not the greatest site building program ever I need to download something like Dreamweaver, but I refuse to pay for it! But lets not talk about that here, or I'll get moderated!
I hate Geocities, and they hate me!
I'd send you some nice home cooked food, but it'd be cold before it got there!
Hej mistdancer...
Ottox Posted Feb 20, 2002
No 24 hour supermarkets in Denmark.
There's this little program called Notepad...
I'm not a big fan of Yahoo and Geocities, but unlike so many other sites I can use my old computer with them almost without problems.
I just remembered that I might have a page with links for English pages about Roskilde...

No 24 hour supermarkets?! Wow!!
Notepad's great, but it's fiddly when you want to have pages linked off the index page. My site used to have a frame on the left, and about 6 pages linked from it. That's too messy to do in notepad! I'm not that good with HTML
I'd love to see those sites about Roskilde. It's so easy to see where I live, the web's full of sites! But it's not easy finding stuff about Denmark that's in english I did find out where abouts Roskilde is though!
Time to get back to the computer shopping for you! I can't wait for you to get some sort of instant messenger program!
