I saw it go down this afternoon, right in the middle of reading a thread! So I gave up and did the laundry.....how sad is that!
Well, after numerous timeouts, I finally finished editing my new entry! Must go post to Anna's page to let her know!
for the cute Ottox!
Hej mistdancer...
Ottox Posted Feb 9, 2002
*wonders if there's anything worse than being called cute*
I think I deleted too much of my last post. At least there should be a 'slow' somewhere in it!
*goes to find out what Mist has written about... *
*returns for a moment to hug*

Errmm, not being called cute?! Anyways, whats wrong with being cute????? How about adorable? Lovable? able? able? able? Any of those any better
The entry isn't really an entry. I volunteered to take over the Parent and Baby group from Bernadette Lynn, so I built a new page for it!

*sighs*
They all reminds me about how lonely I feel.
I've seen the page. Unfortunately I'm not in a position to say anything about it.

Lonely? Yep, I know lonely.
I was alone for years, watching all my friends have relationships, get married, have kids. It sucks.
I met my other half when he was still married. We were just friends, but when his marriage crumbled, we got closer. Then I got pregnant, and it all got too much, and we separated. Took us 3 years to get it together, and they were the loneliest 3 years of my life.
At the time I didn't have that many friends to talk to, and the ones I did have were too far away. These were the days before I got my computer, so I couldn't afford the phone bills!
Rambling a bit now, but what I'm trying to say is that I've been there, and I know how badly it hurts. But you do have one thing I didn't...friends to talk to. Look how many people here swamp your space with messages! And you've got the Danish Meet coming up, so you can finally meet some of them!
I do realise that it's no substitute for companionship, but believe me, it is the next best thing. You won't be lonely for ever. Yes, I know, I never believed it when people used to tell me that either
Useless platitudes aside, have a VR coz my arms aren't quite long enough to reach to Denmark!
Do you want a loobrush, or have you got lots of them already
Hej mistdancer...
Ottox Posted Feb 10, 2002
I've got quite a few blue loobrushes already, thank you!
I really really appreciate how many friends I've got both here and IRL, I know I *am* very lucky. Doesn't help much...
Hej mistdancer...
Mistdancer-X-sporadically coherent Posted Feb 10, 2002
No, it doesn't much, does it
Right, ok, you have lots of sooo, how about...
a !! Her name is Sophie! Look after her now, she's very sensitive. And promise not to turn her into lamb chops for at least a couple of months!
Makes a change from a loobrush, doesn't it!
Hej mistdancer...
Ottox Posted Feb 10, 2002
I'm sure she'll be a great friend to my wolf Dayna!
Don't worry, I don't like lamb meat!
Hey, Sophie!
I think you'll like to live in F52345?thread=144227

Awww, lots of friends for her
I have a dog in RL, but she is a total wimp when it comes to the countryside! Town dog, not scared of people, cars, gunshots, etc, but we took her on holiday once, and she was terrified of the and cows! Barks like a rottweiler, quivers like a jelly
Ottox.....and go to bed, you have to be up in the morning, don't you?
Hej mistdancer...
Mistdancer-X-sporadically coherent Posted Feb 10, 2002
Funny, that's what I'm doing right now!
Enjoy you foo......HEY!! I hope you meant it when you said you didn't like lamb

Cauliflower Cheese! It's the only thing I had that could be microwaved! I couldn't be bothered cooking...or washing dishes!!
What about you?
Hej mistdancer...
Ottox Posted Feb 10, 2002
Cauliflower cheese? Erm... what/how?
Not sure what I can find. I want something warm, and I don't think I have much. And no microwaver. Don't mention the dishes, please!
Hej mistdancer...
Mistdancer-X-sporadically coherent Posted Feb 10, 2002
Cauliflower cheese is just that! Cauli cooked till its slightly crunchy, then covered in cheese sauce ( milk, cornflour and grated cheese, heated till thick)
I really wanted a cheese and onion sandwich, but the kids ate all the bread! My stepkids are like locusts...they can decimate my kitchen in minutes!
No microwave!
not mentioning dishes
Hej mistdancer...
Ottox Posted Feb 10, 2002
I'm not sure I would enjoy your meal...
I'd like to have a microwave... and a real oven instead of my mini thing... and a real kitchen... and...
I wouldn't like locusts.

Well then, what sort of food do you like? I'm always interested in different countries' food! I loved Hungarian cooking when I was there, and Austrian cakes and pastries were amazing. Italy did the best pasta dishes, but Yugoslavia (I think where I went is in Croatia now) was a huge disappointment!
So do tell, what are you having?
craving coffee walnut cake
Hej mistdancer...
Mistdancer-X-sporadically coherent Posted Feb 10, 2002
Oh yeah, and I used to have a mini-oven thingy too! 2 hotplates, and a combined oven/grill. Kitchen in my flat was too tiny for a big one! Still got that somewhere in the loft, I think!
Hej mistdancer...
Ottox Posted Feb 10, 2002
No kitchen, two hotplates and a mini-oven...
What I'm having is not exciting! Nothing in the fridge.
Some pork and some rye bread - A500482
I'm terrible with food. Way too fastidious.
Hej mistdancer...
Mistdancer-X-sporadically coherent Posted Feb 10, 2002
Hey, I already have that rye bread page bookmarked! It came up on one of my random entry crawls. It looked so yummy, I saved it! I'll make it one of these days.
I'm adventurous when it comes to food, I'll try almost anything once. Of course, there are many things I won't be trying twice When I lived in my bedsit, the one with the tiny kitchen, I used to cook all sorts of stuff. Only problem was, as soon as everyone else in the house smelled it cooking, they would all turn up at my door armed with plates
I also bake a lot of cakes! I do a cake that makes Death by Chocolate look tame!! Very fattening! I hate it myself, but everyone else seems to like it.
Ok, now I'm really craving coffee walnut cake!
