For my two favorite bass-men.

No I didn't visiting my Mum with the family.

We have been asked by our sound guy (a student) if we would record a track or two as an assignment for college. He and a buddy must each record at least one cut with a band. Just maybe we'll get a demo disc out of this..!

The pre-production is on the go and the drummer and bassist start laying down the backing tracks on Friday morning.

Excellent. There's a vicious rumour that we're going back in the studio some time, but I'm not holding my breath. (We've even got the cash put aside )

Well, why am I looking all over for music for my screenplays?
I've met one musician here that has the perfect songs for one of the films I'm w*rking on.
I could send it to each of you...but Bassman won't open it because it would be on an e-card. Although....I sent this to my personal addy & I haven't received ANY spam from it.
I'm told I'm somehow making 'film hystory'...by providing my own
music for a screenplay as that's usually done by the producer(s).
...*twirls around...*
I just love doing things back-to-front!

I did open it, I don't know if I've said this to you before, but the reason I don't read novels, is because I have no imagination. I listened to the track, but couldn't imagine how it would work with the scene you had described. I had been expecting something a lot harder - heavy metal or similar.

This doesn't mean that it isn't a good piece for the screen, like I said - I just don't have the imagination to make it work in my head.
