Hi,
I was just looking at the MuG site, trying to get in, and saw your (hopefully) nickname. I'm called TC IV ("TC the forth), TC by friends. I'm not surprised that other people use "TC", but when you see your nickname used by other than yourself, you DO notice it!
By the way; What's NOT to like about trumpets? (I say so cause I played it for six years myself). Never did get the hang of guitars though...
Well, this is just a lot of gibberish written by a Norwegian trumpet player (who don't know a soul on this h2g2 site), and also play in the really cool band, "The Drownin' Ducks".

Hey, TC! And welcome to the Guide! And hopefully the Guild!
Actually, I like trumpets. I think they are very powerful instruments and I love to hear them in jazz and especially in zyteco!
My nickname really is T.C., those are my initals. But the "Burgerpants" came from a "Change-Your-Name" e-mail that someone sent me a couple of months ago. I noticed that almost everyone chooses a pen name when joining the guild, so I merged my real initials with my "new" last name. It has a ring to it that I like. 
Now you know someone in the Guide community! I'm just learning my way around here myself. One of my biggest obstacles is that I just don't have much time to browse around online. Perhaps when work slows down over the summer, I'll look around a bit more and maybe even post some more journal entries.
