I look forward to getting involved. I have missed the nonsensicality of the h2g2 books & tapes. And at this critical point in my degree program, I thought it good to find somewhere that I could just let my inner self and my towel shine!

GuideML is pretty easy to grasp! Thanks for directing me toward the clinic. <SMILEY TYPE="ok"/>
I was also wondering if anyone has though about a "Guide To Go" feature. I don't know how many other people are PDA users, but I use a pocket PC for writing journal entries on the road. It would be really cool to have a feature at the bottom of each entry to have it added to your AvantGo(TM) channels to take with you on the road. I have NO idea how difficult that would be put set up, however.

GuideML only works on your entries (your User page is an entry) Forums are plain text except for the smilies that you've all ready worked out. 
Oh and don't forget and tags in your guideML.
As for the messaging, I don't know, but a guru might!
