It seems that law enforcement personel in the New Orleans area were helping out with God's work, making sure that the nasty sinners (sinners = black apparently) from making like Lot and getting out:

You've just gotta laugh at idiots like our Sammie. No matter how much you try to reason with them, they'll never change their minds.
