Simple explanation? No!

A few days ago, Croz (U96736) changed his tag to include the phrase "my brain is owned by Tony Curtis" - a phrase made popular (-ish ) by the BBC2 series Look Around You. Whilst on iCan (another DNA site) his nickname was moderated (whether by a user or iCan mods is unclear) because he was "impersonating Tony Curtis".

Well, being hootooers, we weren't about to take this sort of interference in our affairs lightly! So, we first organised a "flash mob" (about a week ago), then various campaigns were organised, both on H2G2 and on iCan.

This will give you some insight into how it all began (read the first page of posts) F25024?thread=597667 . Once you get on to page two onwards it probably doesn't make much sense, but at the time of posting everyone's names showed simply as "Tony Curtis", not all the many variants you see now!

I would love to come to the meet, but my Daddy Dearest has chosen that weekend to grace me with his presence. I'm still deciding whether it would annoy him too much if I just saw him in the afternoon, then came down to Londontown for the meet in the evening.
