Hi Shag!
Looks like NH will soon be out of PR!
Bet you wondered how I'd heard that NH was once called NV.
I'm a great fan of Isaac Asimov, noted science fiction writer. You may know that he also wrote textbooks, sat on boards of Dictionary decision committees, and Limericks; but he also wrote several volumes of mysteries that are called the 'Black Widowers' mysteries.
I remember the subject coming up in a short story called "The One True North".
Of course, I had to Google it to be certain!

So what ever happened to your article on the ultimate question?

Still under discussion, I fear.
Some long-time researcher, currently using the name 'That Researcher' got kind of snarky about the very existence of such an entry, and suggested that its inclusion as an EG entry would spell the end of H2G2?!
At least the controversy is maintaining some level of civility.
If you should go back and check it out, let me know if I came on too strong.
Hey! That's my towel smi'ley Boom' Boom' Boom'

I was checking out what that researcher you mentioned had written.
If you noticed his journal you will see he hardly ever has anything good to say about h2g2. I think he wanted it to be a more scholarly version of wikipedia and is sour about the homey tone that we set around here. I wouldn't worry a lot about him.

*Snatches back towel and snaps Shagbark with it wetted*
Thanks for the comforting words, but I'm not really worried about him. Sometimes it's just fun to zing the pompous in a way that they can't really tell whether you meant to!
I'm convinced that TR is a researcher who was kicked, once upon a time, and has come back with a new agenda. I just don't know which one it is.
Key: Complain about this post
