Norwich University
Posted May 1, 2006
Norwich is very centered upon the campus due to the fact the school is about 70% ROTC and 30% Civilian. There is approximately 1800 students residing on campus at the moment. As to how the University Interfaces with the town, I cannot accurately say.
Norwich has a long list of achievements starting with the fact that it is the First and Oldest private military college founded in the United States, being founded in 1819. It also helped jumpstart the American educational system. It was also one of the first colleges in America to offer a Computer Engineering degree, is currently one of 11 (I think) schools in the U.S. to be certified for issuing a degree in computer security among many many many other things.
The grade requirement to get into Norwich varies greatly, but it never hurts to start off with a good high school GPA.

Why are we sane?
Posted May 20, 2003
I have always wondered what is the true definition of sanity and insanity. For instance, how can someone willing to commit suicide for money be sane? He can't get the money because he's dead. How did Iraq survive as a country so long? Did everyone submit to insanity and the Coalition Forces brough them back? or vice versa? Why can't we all be sane or insane and just get it over with?!? This is almost ready to drive me insane.
note: Author was deamed insane at time of posting.

The green people are coming
Posted May 20, 2003
Time for my yearly rant about the green people. They are coming. I know they are coming. They have told me they are coming. I want them to come with their little trained fire imps and burn the world to cinders. They ride hamster as well.

A tribute to Douglas Adams
Posted May 15, 2001
It is sad to see one of my favorite authors die before he was 50 or even 100. With Douglas Adams you could always expect more than what he inteded to do. If another author takes the series up, it just won't be the same. L ONG LIVE DOUGLAS ADAMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
