As a fellow lover that is.
We lost our 15 year old much loved black cat at the end of March He had kidney problems for the last few months but did well on tablets until the last week.

Obviously we miss him very much but having had cats around most of our lives (myself and the rest of the household) we are thinking of getting another in the near future.

Pip came from a neighbour and I feel we were very lucky with both his lovely temperament and longevity. We've thought about going to the RSPCA centre but they seem to have a complex vetting process for potential owners. Looking at ads in local papers, people seem to want £50-60 for a non pedigree kitten.

Any thoughts on the best place to find a new feline friend?

Hi I get all my cats from the Cats Protection League. You can find details on the internet.I used to be a foster carer for them, looking after cats until they were found a home...but I kept them all so had to stop thats how I got old Oedipus
They try to match cats with owners so for instance if you had small children ,you wouldn't get a nervous cat. They will be pleased to hear from you I am sure.
