Do they want the rest of the world to hate them?

Right now I'm seriously miffed. Recently Isreal has demonstrated that it is not the most intelligent nation in the world by trying to fight acts of terrorism by breeding a new generation of terrorists and becoming a terrorist in it's own right.

First they start wrning people to leave their homes because they're going to be destroyed and then they carry out airstrikes on the people fleeing the bombings. Now that's either dumb or just plain evil. Then they claim they're not at war with Lebanon just Hezbollah, yet they attack and distroy Lebanon's infrastructure and comunications. They then stopped refugees fleeing Lebanon in boats, allowing one ship through only because it contained among it's passengers some US diplomats.

Finally today they deliberately targeted and destroyed a UN outpost, killing four UN personell and then attacking those people that came to help them.

They're lucky I'm not running this country as I'd park 1 or 2 of our Vanguard class submarines off the Isrealy coast and politely ask them to pack it in and grow up. Oh and I'd park the others off the eastern US sea board and ask Washington not to interfere.

The TV Licencing people have finaly flipped

TV Licencing have stated that you now need a TV licence to watch the BBCs live world cup coverage through their web streaming. No TV, tv card or in fact any thing which receaves TV signals.

Does this mean everyone with web access will now need to get a TV Licence? After all you need a TV licence whether you watch the BBC chanels or not, merely having the ability to watch the BBC requires that you have a licence. Logicaly this means that they now believe everyone who can acces the BBCs programs which are streamed over the net needs a TV Licence.

Whoever came up with this obviously hasn't been turning up for their chlorpromazine injections.

You can read the full story here. Oh and it contradicts itself too;
"It doesn't matter how you're watching, if you are watching a live match you will need a licence."
"You don't need a licence to watch the matches live on any of the BBC's big screens"
