hello, and welcome to my mind
Good day everyone. By that i mean everyone, body, and thing with the comprehension and intellectual abilities to read and understand this little passage about myself. Speaking of said self, i shall now introduce stated self now : Name: (for purposes of anonymity a made up name) SHattershot32 Age : incalcuable in cabbage years but for all realistic purposes and reasons..32 (just 10 away from the meaning of life...which it could also be said that i am 10 and when i get to the end of the 10 remaining years i shall be 20? new fuzzy math) Likes: I never like putting my "likes" down (maybe i should put that in "dislikes") anyways...writing, reading, thinking, cooking, eating, sleeping (rather enjoy that part), driving, movies, computers, networking. Dislikes: See above for major dislike. rude, arrogant, inconsiderate, religion-pushing, loud, abrasive(ina bad way) people. Oh and Bill Gates (just for the mere petty fact that he has more money than i do and can buy and sell pretty much anything that i would just want to buy.) So, that in a rather long-winded nutshell is myself, with one added addendum to the aforementioned likes...Douglas Adams. I "discovered" (i couldnt really use the word discovered, because i was not the first or only one to find the authors books...but for the purposes of not having any other word to describe the experience of reading Mr. Adams' work, i shall stick with discovered) TH2G2 when i was 13. My father, a big fan of humor and laughter (in my earlier days) had his book "So long and Thanks for all the fish" and "H2G2" I began vigorously reading said books just for the fact that an Adult owned them and i maybe shouldnt be exposing myself to such corruption (however doing just that, is just what i like to do). So thus began my love for reading humorous tales of science fiction, technology and towels, and my love for writing my own strange experiences (however, none of my own writings, however misplaced and unbeknownst to me their whereabouts, i should still like them noticed). And thus has lead me to the pinnacle of geekiness, prensenting myself here on the forum which the writer, who started me off on my journey of writing and humor, has created. Thus i shall end my lil diatribe and not so short "just tell us a bit about yourself" introduction.and go on to read, think and admire the works of a great writer and try to write a little bit (or as much as i can keep procrastination at bay) every day. Til next time, I will remain SHatterLatest Messages

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
