e-mail from the USA

around 11 am (central european time) send an e-mail to USA:
about cds not received, which should have been arriving around 23 August
around 7 pm (central european time) recieve an e-mail from USA:
"Your order probably should have arrived by now."
hallo, it is evening here! it did not arrive! why do I send e-mail!?
I know that there is a lot day time between 11 am and 7 pm, but I had not many these packages between these times. usually it is delivered in the morning or around 2 pm usual post arrives.
