Hello
Since people tend to define themselves by their employment, I'll let you know that I work for the Los Angeles Times -- working on the web site and once in a while writing for the paper.
More important, I am a father of two, a Los Angeles native and a keeper of way too many personal web sites. (I can't post the URLs here, of course. But type a dot com after my name and you'll get there.)
My offline interests include my wife, kids, hiking, theme parks, current affairs, literature, road trips and cooking.
(FWIW, I performed HHGG as my humor interp cutting on my high school's speech team, sophomore year. And I was doing quite well in the state tournament, too, until I ran into a judge who didn't like the idea of whales crashing into the Earth at high speed. Oh, well.)

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
