Hurrah! Mission accomplished. Apart from the not getting drunk part, and getting the birthday boy to the pub. Thanks, did have a good time though.
Double hurrah! I get another go at it tonight! This time he will be drunk, and so will I (it is the weekend after all). Hope you have a good weekend too, I've got Monday off work so I'll be around again on Tuesday.

Hey, well done!! Glad you did!!
Well, I hope you enjoyed that too, and that the hangover wasn't toooo bad!
Hum. Yes, I hope I'll enjoy it too, but I've got a lot of German to revise owing to the speaking exam on Monday and a big fat horrid Systems project due in on Wednesday... so I may or may not be on after Sunday till Wednesday. Damn GCSEs...

Errr... it went OK. It could have gone better, but it could have gone worse. My teacher says I did fine, so hopefully she means it!

Yes, I took a whole evening off working/revising and stayed on the internet talking to people. Then the next night I panicked because I had that huge Systems project due in on Wednesday and I needed to do quite a bit more... and last night, having given the project in, I burnt all the sheets that my teacher had given me to help. I could only find one, so that was the only one I burnt, though. But it was very satisfying.

Now that's true
How was the weekend? Full of fun I hope. I saw the Ozric Tentacles play at the Cooperage (small 300 person venue) on Sunday. Didn't get to bed until 6am!!

*grin* Owing to the fact that it was a four-day weekend, it was better than usual. Four whole days of knowing I should be doing something and taking pleasure in not doing it.
Good grief!! That's late. Are you surviving?
(Who? What?)

Not surviving as such, just longing for more sleepy-time.
Oh, Ozric Tentacles are instrumental guitar/keyboard/wind instrumenty band. Lots of spinny multi-coloured backdrops, a bit like taking acid. G.fun!

Erm... *wonders to give the obvious advice to go to bed early, then decides not to*
Oh... cool!
Was/is there a flute in the band?
(I love those backgrounds! )

Yep, sometimes flute, other times recorder or penny-whistle. Backgrounds were v.. You'll be pleased to hear I've caught up on my sleep now, just in time for me to have another late, late night!

Nothing like that .
Went to see a couple of punk bands for £3 on the door. One of them had some friends in so it was only polite to go (and have a few drinks at the same time). The first band took themselves FAR too seriously, fortunately my friends (band called Gob Dylan!!) took themselves not seriously at all !

Ahhh... yep.
Gob Dylan?? Hee hee hee!! I'm glad they didn't take themselves seriously - bands who do usually do really boring performances. *grin* Whereas ones full of idiots (and I'm not implying anything here! ) often give much better performances, much funnier performances and don't go to pieces if something goes wrong.
But that's just my opinion...
Woohoo!! Just gone on study leave!!
