Yea, the broadband is sorted, it took me ages to get it going as it wouldnt work using the SKY telephone socket, plus people can ring now without the old dial-up service blocking it, and its super quick

But the amount of bloody cables everywhere its looks like someone has spilled their spaghetti behind the computer

because i have changed internet supplier my old e-mail address has now been blown up

See, we fondly imagine all this new fangled techno stuff will make our lives easier, but nope. Now you have no excuse for not answering the phone "Oh sorry, i was on the computer." & have to contact everyone you have ever emailed & send your new address.

Hopefully you wrote down all your old email addresses with a good old fashioned in a good old fashioned address book? Does this mean you lost all your previous emails?

Never mind. They will no doubt update the new broadband system next week & email you on your new address asking, nay, begging you to change & get even more spaghetti!

I'll send a trial run brief email to the new address.....

I never really used my e-mail much, only had a few names on it that i wanted and i made a note of them (yours included), and those who want the new one can ask.

All previous mails i loaded onto a memory stick and downloaded them to my new address

So all those nobodies who mailed with cr*p can take a hike
