It's an email group and, to be honest, a right pain. I've rented myself some server space (http://www.mugfungus.co.uk , still a little sparse!) and am triying to install a proper forum, but haven't come across MySQL databases, PHP etc before so it's all a bit headshredding!

The name 'mugfungus' has been kicking around for years, and was inspired by the culture that grew in a mug left in the conservatory one summer. I belive it was a Captain Picard mug from Siggie's Comic Shop in Canterbury.

Sounds like name of a psyco 70's band, in fact there was one that had mushroom or fungus in it somewhere, trying to rack brains and think of it

I'm going to take the bull by the horns and try installing SMF to control the MySQL on the PHP enabled server. I wish I knew what that all meant.

I've succesfully unzipped the SMF files into a dedicated folder.
