2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side...

smiley - weird
Went to a kitchen show-room today. The guy we were talking to, who is the same person as it turns out, who's just done the design for a friend's new kitchen, turned out, to have worked in a shop, back in my hometown. Not a kitchen shop, a food-store.... smiley - weird and lived just a couple of miles from where I was born smiley - weird

went to the gym yesterday. Bumped into my osteoporosis Dr/consultant, taking his daughter to ballet (W won't let me do ballet....) smiley - erm He recognized W, as by that point I was already squatting in the weight room smiley - puff

Starting to use the weights a bit differently; as I'm not allowed to increase the weight, due to the busted aorta, I've begun doing the reps, a vast amount slower. which, wow... makes a huge deifference; normally I'd do 20 reps of curls, reverse grip curls, raises, squats, shoulder shrugs, upright row, etc, but, slowing it right down, after just five reps, the muscles are shaking... - so I guess its working the muscles a lot harder, without having to increase the weight. hmm... judging by my arms, and the muscles either side of my spine, its working smiley - blush

Also been doing a lot of stuff on flexability at the gym; in particular trying to losten up my hamstrings... - even as a kid they were always rubbish; and, in just a week or so of doing a few stretches on them, I can see its made a vast difference already; I can now touch my toes; and the ground beyond, without flexing the leg at the knee smiley - cool

Talking of osteoporosis Drs, as we were; just the day before we bumped into him, he sent me a letter. - agreeing with me, and that my approach is more sensible smiley - tongueoutsmiley - evilgrin - who's the scientist? smiley - laugh so we've postponed the bisphosphonate infusion, and canceled the Febuary bone density scan, and now just waiting for a new, sooner, bone density scan; after that I'll have to consider what the situation is, as regards having bisphosphonates or not.

Testosterone has continued to sink lower. - a few clues of which, my hair is in better condition than useual; my legs don't need shaving smiley - wow and, it takes about half the time it normally does, to shave my chin/beard smiley - laugh all of which are nice side effects smiley - diva - oh, and my skin texture has changed, slightly.... and, no chest hair has dared to re-grow smiley - blush
and.
oddly. I'm a lot more higher libido than previous months smiley - huh and, smiley - blush testicular volume/size has increased, as there isn't the exoginious androgen present to cause further atrophy of the glandular tissues smiley - huhsmiley - blush - maybe a periodical 'drug holiday', from the testosterone would a good idea be.... If only the NHS would offer an alternative treatment, HCG or similar in order to retain indoginious androgen production smiley - erm

but... on the negative... - I didn't thinkI was going to make the walk to the kitchen shop today.... just so weak.... hard to describe, its just a bit, I guess, like feeling the muscles, my body, can't retrieve any energy to power it smiley - puff - mind, the heat out didn't help today smiley - puff

did laundry this morning, must go check that, see if the first load has finished drying yet....

The gym has been helping a lot with energy whilst my testosterone is low (not entirely sure how that works, but it seems too); but I'm really flagging on the cardio front at the gym, whilst its low like this < smiley - puffsmiley - run
if not before, the testosterone injection, at the 14 week mark, is Friday coming; I got a automated TXT about it, a day ago... smiley - zensmiley - nursesmiley - weird
oddly, also, I think, I'm a bit less brain fog-full ATM.... not sure if that's a consequence of the testosterone levels being low... - well I'm assuming they are low ATM, will find out, in a week or so; as they take a blood sample, before each new IM injection of the testosterone, to check on the trough level smiley - nurse
