damnit. too wet to try venture outside tonight... absolutely tipping it down actually...

Had two events we could have gone to tonight....
The first a Eurovision thing, at a local pub... but a LGBT event too.... weren't exactly sure we fancied the idea of being locked in a room of screaming queers, with Eurovision on... That might just have about been unbearable
The, other, much more likely venture out tonight, was to a gig, at a pub we go to a lot... far more interesting crowd than the LGBT one, though we expect some cross over... the sort of pub where no one has had the slightest touch of reality in decades... all the local vegans, hippies, vegies, and lay-abouts, and just generalised local weirdos and non-conforming nut-jobs and such like... - we fit in anyhow, they had a very trad/old school punk group from Leeds on tonight... but... didn't fancy venturing there, even though its closer, with this much rain... - my body can't tolerate temp = either hot or cold... a few degrees rise, and I sweat, and a tiny drop and I lose all feeling except extreme pain, most especially in fingers etc... heading out in the rain would necessitate warm, waterproof gear... and then to get to a pub to boil in the heat... basically the worse of both, too hot once there, and freezing cold with pain on the way there damn neuropathy and autonomic disfunction

Gym tomorrow, hoping its not to wet to get there, and then probably another band in a different pub, tomorrow night, again weather permitting

today was mainly spent then out on a trip to pick up a parcel that wasn't delivered yesterday; we watched the delivery van, yesterday... come up the road, go the wrong way, on the wrong side of the street, then turn into a different road, and we assume, put a 'you were not in' card through a door that wasn't our door, but, which, maybe shared our house number... then drive off... with the parcel...
so we went to collect it today... Lots of BodyShop goodness hence has arrived

Extended the trip a bit whilst out, and went to a nearby supermarket, to pick up a few different cheeses, some Icelandic youghurt, and a gammon joint shall probably cook the gammon tomorrow I expect

Dinner tonight was stir fry rice noodles with bell pepper, chili pepper, ginger, garlic, onion and sliced pork strips cooked in sessamae oil, and with some soya sauce, and coriander put onto it, once cooked not bad at just 400 KCal per portion
fruit today was kiwi fruit, X2, and an apple, breakfast of two boiled eggs, and lunch of tuna salad

but... damn this rain
