2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side... Started conversation Aug 3, 2017
A wile back, a very helpful endocrine nurse, told me I'd never get back into my skinny fit Levi's.... People with my endocrine problems, basically, just end up being fat, and the chance of me getting down from 40 inch waist, I'd gone up to by that point, and back into my skinny fit levi's I was wearing at the start of 2015 before Dx, was, impossible.
I put them on today, and buttoned them up.
A little tighter than I'd prefer, but maybe only a quarter or half an inch more to go, befor ethey fit comfortably on my waist. - oddly, I'm still one and a half stones heavier than the start of 2015, but, the weight extra I have seems now to be all on my upper arms, across my shoulders/back and chest rather than below my rib cage - I thought my current jeans were getting lose, and I was supprised to notice they were quite so lose... so was going to go to get a new pair of jeans today; assuming I'd not be able to jump straight down four inchs from them, to the Levi's, but, before I went out to hunt the new jeans I figured I'd try on the old Levi's, to see just how much more I needed to shrink, and indeed, in order to gague, just what sized jeans to look at in the shop...
So, didn't buy any jeans today. got a couple of sleeveless tee shirts instead, for the gym.
Was at gym this morning, unfortunately someone was in my squat//weights 'cage', so I just did bench presses, and inclined bench presses. about three times more of each than I normally do... the inclined presses I was finding a struggle a few weeks ago, I think are now easier than the regular bench press/power lift/press... I balanced that a bit, by doing extra stretching, and climbed into the climbing frame thinggy, did a load of dips, and pullups and leg raises and stuff definately need to lose more weight still, to make the pullups a bit easier I'm not sure cardiology would be happy me doing the pullups and simular tings.... but at least I'm keeping to the weight limit on the bars, that cardiology set, hence just doing a lot more sets/reps each time now
After that (about 45 minutes), we went to the cardio room, and did a while on the exercise bike
By the time we got home, showered, went into town, and got back, it was too late for lunch, so I didn't hav eany....
quite happy its dinner time soon though (when I go cook it).
also did a load of laundry today (currently drying), and after dinner I think we will go to the pub to see what nutcases we can meet today. We already met one of our friends, a local nutcase hippy girl, who's an author and well, bonkers, she proposed to William today, just outside the bank we dont' know anyone saine anymore
err.. waht else today.... Oh, I had two rashers grilled back bacon for breakfast (180 KCal), 1 very large flat mushroom grilled (20 KCal), with some brie in it (50 KCal), and then had an apple later on, and a peach dinner.... I think will be new potatos, coleslaugh, and fish.... not sur sure what fish... maybe mackral fillets for a change, or perhaps more salmon
My old Levis are looking a bit old actually, so perhaps when they fit properly comfy, in a week or two, I'll treat myself to either a new pair, or something simular (I.E., not the cheap jeans I've been buying recently whilst I've been downsizing month to month through sizes, and passing them, nearly new, off to the charity shop) i still need a leopard print handbag, and pair of shoes... I must get round to hunting some down, although, having said which, shoes are getting harder to work out; not long ago I could only wear open toed sandle, flip flop things, due to oedema, and they were male size 10, I've always been a male size 9, but now, the female size 8 ankle boots I wear most days, are getting too lose on me so I've absolutely no idea what size I am anymore the size 10 knee length riding boots stilll fit, as long as I wear socks rahter than stockings, but, then only with inserts in the boots, and they're progressively getting loser too
now... if I can just shink to a size 7 or something in shoes, life would be so* much easier, finding female shoes to fit me in the charity shops My body appears to be remodelling itself... I'm just not quite sure apon which its doing so need. more. weird.... more weird.... more weird....
