2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side...

smiley - wow third day in a row, at the gym today smiley - puff did weights on Sunday, and then again on Monday, but with some cardio on Monday too, on the exercise bike.... smiley - puff today was with the personal trainer.... - I'd kinda been expecting to just do weights again, 5 sets of 20 reps on the squats with the 20 KG bar, and the same reps/sets and bar on the bench press, plus a few things on the free weights and some preacher bench ones, plus inclined raise machine thinggy... but.. today was differnt smiley - weird
we went 'outside' over the road, to Parker's piece, and did stuf there... lots of stretcy stuff, lots of pushups, star jumps, hoppin, skipping, side step thinggies, and jogging and stuff, and crawling/stretching stuff smiley - wow I was so unsure of it, to start with... but actually that was a lot of fun smiley - boing got home just before the rain started.... and its been raining constantly since, with some really heavy downpour starting earlier, just before 7 for a fairly decent while, before settling back into the constant rain - mind, we really could do with it, the streets round here were starting to stink so bad smiley - yuk and the dust and dirt in the air smiley - yuksmiley - zen
Shall probably go to the gym again tomorrow for a mor euseual normal set of weights and maybe some cardio machien work too smiley - zen err. tomorrow is Wednesday I think.... not sure if we'll do the gym again Thursday or give it a break then; but Friday I'm at hospital for an endocrine app, must try push them on the thyroid stuff, and see if they've any input to the cardiology stuff, from an endocrine view, which I doubt they have, as there is no cross communication between depts, and the hospital is mor ethan happy for one dept to do something that threatens a patients life, from the perspective of another dept, without anyone even seeming to notice things like meds that dont' interact well together, etc smiley - shrug gona ask too if its worth increasing my GH dose, as my IGF-1 level has gone down quite a bit, and although its still 'in range' its certainly no where near as optamul as it was a few months back... see if I can ask them about acne I still have, from the steorids they woudln't look at last time; gp eventually looked at it, but I've finished the 50 day course of antibiotics now, and its still there... though I doubt it'll ever entirely go as the causitive agent, AKA the prednisolone is a thing I have to take each day smiley - dohsmiley - erm still would prefer it if endo would do some more testing, or, ya know, actulaly proactivly do some testing without my suggesting it, or, like tell me stuff, for once, about long term consequences, things to watch out for etc... but I think that all just seems laughingly unlikely now, given their utte rmedical incompetence. and inability to administer their dept/clinic.... smiley - ermsmiley - shrug

2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side...

Forth day at the gym today in a row smiley - puff just did weights today, stretching, some abs work (climbing in the weird cage thing, doing pullups and the weird suspended legwork stuff, that does your abs I think) smiley - puff
was so smiley - sleepy this morning, didn't really feel in the mood for the gym.... so I ended up doing slightly less reps, on the weights, but I did extra sets at the lower reps, which seemed to work well, especially the squats, which I've got the technique really solid now smiley - zen found the bench pressing easier than I have done before smiley - wowsmiley - cool
not sure if we'll do the gym tomorrow or not, as its hospital Friday, and I probably oughta sort out some kind of notes to take with me, for quizzing the Dr and suggesting how she might want to alter my treatment, as that is something they dont' ever sugest themselves smiley - huh - I seem to have misunderstood how Drs work, unless I sugest a test, or medication or something, they don't do it.... oddly this goes for tests which are indicated in NHS best practise and in national an dinternational guidelines, like the one for ostioporosis/bone density, that I had to fight to get them to do smiley - alienfrownsmiley - weirdsmiley - shrug
