A gift from W to me, for our anniversary.... - Whammy! - a laundry basket (no I have no idea why its called Whammy.... but it is...) - well, I did buy William a pair of wet floor signs for Christmas so he can put them out when he's mopping the kitchen floors.... domesticated life or what?!
I've just spent an hour with Whammy; she was full of the remainder of the big load of washing we put through the machine a few days back; socks, knickers, pants, more socks, knickers, panties, more socks... took over an hour to sort out, fold/pair up the various items and distribute them between me and W as appropiate - we have far too many socks and I probably have far too many knickers/panties
Talking of Whammy, we took Poochy out earlier, for a walk to Waitrose, and superdrug, to pick up essentials..... salad dressing, brie, pasta, and toothpaste and deoderant I think was all we got today... Then W went nextdoor to get lettuce, cucumber and a red pepper and milk and maybe some other bits....
Breakfast today was a giant flat mushroom (weighed it in at 200 Grams), which I grilled, and grilled one for W too; then filled each large flat mushroom with brie, and melted that in... - I had some bacon with mine too
Just had a very late lunch, for a change I had a bit of bread, and some ham with cucumber no idea yet what dinner will be; will depend if this heat/humidy clears a bit; feels like we might be brewing up to a storm outside Probably off out tonight, to meet up with the LGBT group (or LGBTQA or whatever it is nowdays), later, in a pub by the river...

Oo. made an unexpected random discovery, a little while back.... happened to be perusing my medical notes, that the GP surgery have on their website.... and came across a 2014 blood result, where they'd measured my thyroid levels (I have no recolection of why they did this test, or of anyone telling me the results of it, at the time), I think this was possibly something they might have checked to 'rule out' in connection with tiredness (which was clearly a consequence of insomia, and not a weird unexplained thing, but...) gives me a clue to what my levels where back then, which I assume is 'normal' for me at that time, though of course pitutiary may have been on the way out then, and its possible the cancer was already in my system that early, and 'brewing' and that could lower values on some hormones including thyroid I think.... not especiallly high numbers, and only got results for T4 and TsH, so no T3 measuremnt which is annoying - I wonder i might be able to look through even more anchient notes on the system, and see anything else interesting in light of more recent illness, that is hiding in the Surgery notes (and therefore not known by the hospital)
