2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side...

smiley - erm My hair dryer just attempted to kill me. Again. smiley - erm Its a differnt hairdryer to the one that tried to kill m last time.
smiley - erm
Some time back it developed a incy wincy ickle fault... The cable was obviously not making a solid connection any longer inside the unit... try as I might its designed pretty-much so you can't get inside it.
smiley - erm
anyhow, I carried on using it, having to wiggle it a bit every now and then to get it to work smiley - biggrin
Well, I just had a shower.
and then after showering was trying to dry my hair smiley - rofl
plugged in hair dryer, turned on hairdryer...
nothing. smiley - wah wiggled it about a bit... kinda came to life, and then kinda started making a weird noise, and emitting sparks smiley - yikessmiley - rofl (I'm still trying to dry my hair with it at this point)...
then.
click.
Funny smell smiley - yuk
the electric fan stops, the music stops, the HiFi amp makes a click as it powers down smiley - whistlesmiley - biggrin quickly unplug the hairdryer smiley - whistle and get to towel drying....
A few minutes later, lodger calls up from downstairs
"you been putting your fingers in the plug sockets again, the power has gone to the radio and computer"
smiley - rofl
Lodger rest the fuse in the fuse switch box smiley - doh
Luckily my computer, in the studeo, and indeed all the equipment on the power outlets in the studeo is on a differnt circuit and so didn't turn itself off smiley - weird
Right, now to make dinner, do a bit of housework, and order up this monkey drum (Cuica). Think I'm going to go for the more expensive one as it is fully adjustible and tunable, but think I'll get hte 8 inch one rahter than the 9 and a half inch one, which will save a bit of money; I think* the only differnce is that the larger one would be louser smiley - ermsmiley - musicalnote Suppose I oughta buy a hairdryer smiley - biggrinsmiley - erm

I don't use a hairdryer as it makes me fluffy and more foolish looking but I can empathise with the elcetrocution/powerfailure bit though.

smiley - ermI think the larger monkey drum may have a lower pitch. This would equate to a larger, or more confident and relaxed sounding monkey...smiley - biggrin possiblysmiley - huh
