Hello teri! It's 7:40 and my dinner reservation's at 8:00. I've left my guests with some tapas in the livingroom
,grand hostess that I am.
You and CYBERHUMAN(splendid chap, isn't he?) were painting my page red with jolly chat,I hardly recognised my own home!
BTW, you're always welcome there, new friend!
Thanks for your cordial welcome to the community. It's nice to meet up with another westerner. I'm actually a Californian native, grew up in the area of Hollywood, moved into the Sierra Nevada mountains(mountaineering and climbing freak extraordinaire),the universities at Palo Alto, Eugene, Oregon and in the UK, lived in London, returned to California to care for aged parents
...
now I'm here at hootoo.I'm pretty reticent about my full background details as I have had problems in the past regarding persistent individuals.Hope you understand. A bare outline has to suffice,I'm afraid!
My guests are tugging at me. Perhaps it is a subtle hint.Perhaps I will acknowledge this subtlety and take my leave.
Enjoy a lovely evening at hootoo and we'll chat soon!
Good night teri!!!

Good Morning Cyn!
I don't blame you for protecting your privacy at all and hope that my questions haven't appeared too forward.
It sounds like you had a nice evening planned for last night. I have to admit that I feel I've been blessed by always having good experiences with my i-comrades. I've never had any issues with inappropriate conversations (at least none that I contribute to) or cyber-stalking.
Would you mind if I added you to my list of friends?
I hope you have a great day!
Good night teri!!!

Hi teri!
It's lovely to hear from you. Hope you're having a smashing time on hootoo.
I'm still hopping off and on these threads as my time will allow. My out of town guests are still here and I'm in "gracious mode" as is duly required of a hostess.
Thanks for being so understanding and reassuring regarding online security! I've just had a few incidences where I've had to get legal restraining orders on persistent individuals in recent past. It's funny how someone like me, who loves to stay quietly out of the center of attention, wound up being such a public figure somehow. Oh well, more of that some other time.
I like your personality,it pours amiably off the screen in ample measure!
Just what is needed to comfortably pull me out of my shell for my own good, anyway.
for extending your friendship toward me!
YES,of course,it would be wonderful to be put on your friend's list!
May I put you on mine?
The Croatians are poking around the corner asking,"You are on computer again?" They are mussing up my hair, so I'd better
Bye for now!
Good night teri!!!

Hey teri!
I was just wondering where the bus at the top of your page has gone?
Has it been:
Sent in for repairs
Zapped by Vogons
Knicked by one of those dodgy lurkers
Tweaked by excessive edit button abuse
??????????????
Just concerned and curious.
Good night teri!!!

lol - the comes and goes on its merry way.
I'm sorry you've had bad experiences online, I"m afraid there will always be some sickos out of there whose sole purpose in life is to try and control others thru fear.
It sounds like you house guests and you are having a snapping good time . I hope the rest of your weekend is brilliant!!!
Ahoy, teri!

Hi teri!
Just popping by to say hello and ask how your weekend went.
Hope it was everything you needed to segue into a fabulously productive week.
It's always nice to find some balance in the tempo of our lives. One never knows what adventure might be around the next corner, so it's good to find relaxation time whenever you can!
I had a bit of an unnerving weekend... but everything is fine now.
I had to call an ambulance on Saturday night because my mother fell in the shower and hurt her head.
A veritable bloodbath. She had some stitches (14) and stayed overnight at hospital for observation. She's home now and is recovering slowly but surely.
I was live online with CYBERHUMAN when I heard that chilling *thunk* and a scream down the hall on Saturday. I was casually chatting with him on Friday afternoon when I heard a *clunk* followed by
an unly howl from my kitchen. My
had jumped up on top of my fridge and skidded
(Let this be a lesson to all about too zealously cleaning appliance surfaces) off, and down behind it!
I had to move the great hulking Maytag to extricate the cowering beastie.
The was indignant but unscathed.
These are only two poignant examples of domestic freak happenings when I had been on hootoo just last week. There are many more less poignant incidences I won't go into(You are spared this time)
Perhaps I was not meant to conduct live conversations online?
So for now I will pop in (delayed broadcast style) when I can and you'll know why my response is a little tardy at times.
To a great week ahead! I hope those resumes fetch the perfect employers out there who will scrabble and fight amongst themselves to have you on board with them!
Have a terrific day!oh, and aaaarrrrggghh!
